FlashTracer 2 for Firefox 2.0.*

I dont know what happened to the link of my FlashTracer extensions on Mozilla extensions page.. it simply has been removed.
It's a while I don't visit the mozilla developers corner and so I dont know the reason.. probably I had to update the extension for the final release of Firefox2, and they removed the link from the database..

Anyway, now the developer area is inaccessible until they release the new addons site. For this reason, for who want to download again the flashtracer extension can use this link:

http://www.sephiroth.it/firefox/flashtracer/

I've also added my site as updateURL for this extension, so I dont have to care anymore about mozilla  changes on their site...
The extension itself has no new features, just some little changes and an help panel too. I've added the possibility of open the flashtracer in a floating window, as someone requested.

P.S. Remember that you can find all the Adobe Flash debug player versions here:  http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html

UPDATE: A new flash tracer called fbtracer has been released. This new extension is integrated into Firebug. Read more here

Doesn't seem to work here. Im using firefox 2.0.0.7 and flash debug version 9.0.45
hi, guys, this tool seem very very useful. but I COULD NOT see any trace commands in outpu panel. I install correctly as said in plugin site. so, please please give us CORRECT and DETAILED instruction to use this great tool if anyone find emty time to do this. best regards and thak you. My system is WinXP Pro. Plugin version is 9.0r45 (switcher told me in top of it's panel)
I had the same problem on my MacBook (OS X 10.4.9) with Firefox 2.0.0.3 and Flash Player 9.0.45.0 Debug Version. I simply solved the problem with the hint on this site:
"FLASH DEBUG PLAYERS 9,0,28,0 AND NEWER [...]
The default location of flashlog.txt has changed and cannot be modified from the following locations:
OSX
MacHD:Users:username:Library:Preferences:Macromedia:Flash Player:Logs:flashlog.txt
Windows
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player\Logs\flashlog.txt
Linux
home/username/Macromedia/Flash_Player/Logs/flashlog.txt"
This extension only seems to capture my trace comments on FP ver 9.0.16.0 debug Any newer debug player doesn't seem to work with the Flash Tracer extension.
Hi, I get this error using flash tracer 2.0 and 1.5: [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80520012 (NS_ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND) [nsILocalFile.lastModifiedTime]" nsresult: "0x80520012 (NS_ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://trace/content/tracer.js :: readfile :: line 99" data: no]
Same problem as Martin and Fabrizio. I' m running FF 2.0.0.3 on Win XP and it's a no go for me.
i've the same problem of martin
doesn't seem to work on Win xp / FF 2 / debug player from adobe website
Nope, I've yet tested on Mac. But in the sidebar window (not the floating one) can you see the trace logs?
Have you tested this on 2.0.0.3 on a Mac OS 10.4? Great idea, but it doesn't seem to work. I get the window, but no trace actions appears on either a live server hosted page or on a local page.
