- folder closed handler: function to call when a node is closed
- in the XML file you can define a custom function to call from a link or a folder (see xml example: tree_nested.xml)
-------------------------

VERSION 4.0.4
-------------------------
4.0.4 What's new:
- embedFonts: if you wanto to embedfonts in your menu you must add to your library a linkage font element.
- loadedHandler: call a user defined function once menu is created
- folderClickHandler: call a user defined function every time a folder item is clicked

Note that 3 different samples are installed in your Configuration folder under Document and settings main folder* (see footer note)

-------------------------
4.0.3 What's new:
- If URL value in the xml file is '' (read as NULL) the link appears inactive (NOT FOR FOLDER ITEMS)
-------------------------
4.0.2 What's new:
- Added the opportunity to add your custom icon for each node and link of the menu by adding simple XML attribute into the XML file
- Added LINK attribute also for the node item: note that if you click on the icon folder only the sub menues are opened, while if you click on the text of the node folder both menues are opened and the link is processed.
-------------------------
- yoffset : vertical distance between buttons
-------------------------------------------------------
- XML file : Define XML data source which contains
menu data. You can take a look in the
configuration/multiple_nested folder

-----------------------------------
- xoffset: x offset between folder link and its subitems
- x_distance distance in x from left to the menu text

- LINK_STATUS & OVER_STATUS: similar to css' a:link and a:over options
-----------------------------------
- remember: allow flash remember the last clicked item. Setting this variables to true will force the 'opened' default folder to the last user's clicked link. (the xml attribute will not work while this var is true)

/// you can change IE icon and plus and minus icon simply editing them by edit symbols' from the library

WHERE ARE THE EXAMPLE FILES INSTALLED

The configuration folders
Depending on the Macromedia application you are installing extensions into, and your user role, the Extension Manager installs extension files into different directory paths. The following examples illustrate where these files are installed for Windows XP and Apple OS X systems. If you are installing an extension on a computer using Windows NT or 2000, refer to the documentation supplied with the operating system for information of configuration folder locations.

User Config Folder An application folder that is installed within the user’s application settings folder.

Macintosh DRIVE:Users:USERNAME:Library:Application Support: Macromedia:APPLICATION:Configuration
Windows C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Macromedia\ APPLICATION\Configuration

App Config Folder The configuration folder that is created when an application is installed. Its locations can vary depending on where the user chooses to install the application, but typically is found in these standard locations:

Macintosh DRIVE: Applications: Macromedia: APPLICATION: Configuration
Windows C:\Program Files\Macromedia\APPLICATION\Configuration

Shared Config Folder A configuration folder in a shared directory that contains files installed by the administrative user. This folder is used on systems where the application has never been run before. Files are copied from this folder to the User Config Folder on first launching the application.

Macintosh DRIVE:Users:Shared:Library:Application Support:Macromedia:APPLICATION:Configuration
Windows C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Macromedia\ APPLICATION\Configuration

Hi - Is anyone able to get it to work with Flash CS3, exporting to Player 8 or above? I get script errors unless I export to Player 6, which is before they implemented the aliasing on text, etc. Also adding a tween easing action to the opening and closing of ther menu would be cool....

Hi - Is there a way to change the name of the XML file that is being loaded? I have the .fla loaded in FlashMXPro and I am not seeing a variable to change the filename. =(

This is exactly what I need for a project I'm doing but I can't seem to get it to link to another swf file or anywhere in the same file. It loads a webpage with no problem, am i missing something?

Feature Request: It would be great if the scroll wheel could move the slider. Would that be possible to add to the script? Also the ability to search the tree for items, and then open the folder and highlight the item if found.
